Students started learning how to play cribbage in class today. Students experienced much success learning how to peg. Simply put, they are counting to 15 and 31 to earn points. We'll add more to the game in the next few weeks.

Fruitvale Update:

So far we've covered how water flows through the ground and creates ground water, how aquitards stop the percolation of water. We've also learned about the water cycle to better understand how water moves around in the world. Students wrote a story describing how they would move through the cycle as a drop of water. Coming up next, students will learn what the ground looks like under Fruitvale. One more piece to solving the puzzle of Fruitvale.

Volunteers needed:

Looking for adults to help with a T-Shirt project.

This project is still in its infant stages of production. I can tell you that I would like the 6th grade students to create a 6th grade logo that they would screen on T-shirts. We will work with a staff member here that has his own screening equipment as well as a friend of mine who works at an advertising firm in downtown Minneapolis. He is excited to have the students come to the firm and work with adult and learn how advertising can make this a success.

Just a teaser, but if you have time to make this a huge success please let me know.

That's all Folks!!!!
